Goes well with
Overall the food taste is below expectations.
TBH, when my Japanese friend requested to try this I was sceptical. Firstly how legit can a popiah from soup spoon be? Secondly who ever thinks of eating popiah with soup??
I was blown away. First, maybe it was just luck but despite the long estimation they gave of 11-2, it came at 1130; just nice for lunch.
Secondly, the popiah tasted AMAZING with the soup. The fusion popiahs were fresh, the the traditional one properly made, giving my friend a try of the best of both worlds. They complimented the soup, as a refreshing bite, and was shockingly filling- I didn't touch the bread at all. Not to say it wasn't good as her toddler insistent on just eating the bread over his homemade Udon. 😅
10/10 will buy again for my family to try! You know this is true cos I never ever write reviews, that's how good this was.
Love, your typical Singaporean who would have never gotten popiah outside a Hawker... Till now.
Was super excited to know that Souperstar opened an outlet at Westgate Mall and finally get to try the highly-raved popiah and soup. Thought the mushroom soup would never go wrong but it was a disappointment. The soup was diluted and almost tasteless and the popiah? I think the usual hawker popiah that cost $1.80 would taste way better than this!
Try it if you like something blend and simple.
The portion is too small and it is way too expensive. $11 for a regular sized popiah and a small bowl of soup is really too expensive. Had mine delivered to me and was under the assumption that the portion of soup and popiah would've been much bigger than what was delivered.
Ordered 3 different sets, clam chowder, mushroom and french onion. The french onion soup was way too oily, honestly don't recommend it.
Wont deny that the popiah and the rest of the soup apart from the french onion was delicious. But with these prices and portion, I won't be eating it again.

The food was packed nicely before I arrived. The food was tasty as usual! It even came with a sample of the soup stock!
Happy with the overall experience, have been ordering from Deliveroo last time. No difference, still good!
The food was great! The soups were delicious especially the creamy tom yam. However when I tried to order it again a couple of days ago, Shopify says it doesn't deliver to my address. That's really odd!
Mushroom soup was too watery.. traditional popiah was too sweet
Don’t like the popiah. The ingredients are too mushy for my liking. The beef stew may just as well come out from a tin can. I could have achieved the same standards, heating it up from a tin can. The clam chowder soup as well. Foccacia bread is stale as well. Enough said.
Tried their traditional popiah and mushroom soup - super yummy!
Popiah very fresh, creamy thai tom yum soup very delicious.
I ordered wrongly but the staff promptly helped to correct my order. Really very happy with this meal, especially the crispy stuff inside the popiah
This is your superstar product, ingredients were fresh and seasoned perfectly, will order again!
Glad I can cal to order, pick, pay n go... useful ordering apps!
The popiah n soup are fabulous!
Both bowls of soup were broken and spilled everywhere, ruined the bread roll and popiah
Tom yam and tomato soup are the best of all
Traditional popiah is my all time favourite
