Singapore's beloved popiah, given a new spin and paired with soups made to comfort.
Souperstar is a reimagined food concept that brings together the best of local and world food heritage, carrying flavours from around the globe into the nostalgic taste of popiah.
Where we come from
Two sisters, one family formula
Souperstar grew out of Fortune Food, our family's popiah business, which began at a hawker centre in 2000 with handmade popiah skin.
In 2016, sisters Wei Ting and Wei Ling set out to keep Singapore's food heritage alive while taking the family business somewhere new. They went well outside the box and gave an old family formula a new twist: popiah reimagined with flavours from around the world, served alongside soups and stews made to comfort.

Humble beginnings
Fortune Food starts out at a hawker centre, specialising in handmade popiah.
Souperstar is born
Our first outlet opens at East Point, followed in November by the flagship at Guoco Tower.
Into the CBD
One Raffles Place opens, bringing soup and popiah to the lunchtime crowd.
Through Covid
Takeaway kiosks and delivery bundles keep the neighbourhood fed while dining in pauses.
Tampines MRT
A brighter, lighter outlet opens in the east.
A fresh chapter
Guoco Tower reopens with a new look, the Tees Collection launches and the Hug to Heart podcast goes live.
